Local authorities have announced that the country has been declared free of African swine fever (ASF) by the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE). Total.kz reports that Kazakhstan has been included on the list of countries that have received the status of free from ASF. “This status will allow us to realize the export potential of our agro-industrial complex and will have a positive impact on the economic development and image of Kazakhstan,” the website of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan said.
