To say that the focus on the export of meat products - a new trend - is impossible. Now there is a program for the development of export deliveries until 2020, the next one is in development, which should adjust support measures until 2024. In this case, the result of work in this area is quite clear. The total volume of Russian exports of all types of meat products, taking into account the countries of the Customs Union in 2018, grew by 19% compared to last year and amounted 289 thousand tons, according to the Institute for Agricultural Market Studies (IKAR).
