Russia will carefully assess the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) agreement before taking a stance, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said,accordingto Sputnik News. “This is fairly new information, new agreements,” Peskov was cited as telling reporters. “Therefore, ofcourse, this will be carefully assessed inregard tocompliance withthe Russian Federation's national interests beforesome kind ofstance is formed.” The United States and 11 Pacific Rim countries reached an agreement on the TPP accord on October 5, after five years oftalks.
