Belarus has restricted poultry imports from Lubusz Province (Poland) and Saxony-Anhalt (Germany) due to the avian flu outbreak, BelTA learned from the Veterinary and Food Control Department of the Agriculture and Food Ministry. The World Organization for Animal Health reported on cases of high pathogenic avian influenza (H5) in the above-mentioned areas.
