The Irish food company opens its first plant in Moscow region with a full capacity of 26,000 tonnes. Kerry Group has been a constant presence in the Russian market since 2006 and now is expanding its business in the region by opening the first plant in the Istra district of Moscow. Production is to start immediately with ingredients for the meat processing and snacks market, informs Food Ingredients First magazine. The plant and the warehouse have been built occupies a site of 7,000 square meters and the full capacity is designed to reach 26,000 tonnes per year.
