Mutton prices continued rising in October

In October 2018 mutton (except of boneless meat) prices in Russia were estimated at 369.88 rubles / kg. That was up 0.5% comparing to the previous month, and 7.7% more than in October 2017. Since the beginning of the year, the price of this product has increased by 3.4%. That`s a new record for at least 3 years. For the period from January 2016 the minimum pork price was fixed in January 2017 (338.40 rub./kg), according to SoyaNews; the maximum price was fixed in October 2018 (369.88 rubles / kg). The most expensive beef in October 2018 was sold in the Far Eastern Federal District (519.31 rubles / kg), the cheapest - in the North Caucasus region (312.05 rubles. Read more...
