Import quotas for beef can be replaced with a duty

The issue of replacing the tariff quota for beef imports to Russia with a flat duty will be re-examined at a meeting of the subcommittee on customs-tariff and non-tariff regulation, protective measures in foreign trade, and the executive committee on economic development and integration, the Ministry of Agriculture told Interfax. A source in the financial and economic block of the government told Interfax that the meeting at which the issue was discussed took place on 20 July.
