MEAT PRODUCTION GROWS IN RYAZAN REGION

From January to November, 2019, 77.4 ths t of live weight cattle and poultry for slaughter were produced in Ryazan region. This is by 13% more than in the same period of 2018. By December 1st, 2019, the agricultural companies of the region produced 65.2 ths t of meat of all kinds of cattle and poultry, which was by 16.7% more than the previous year’s level. The biggest growth was shown by the pig breeding farms of the region, which produced 43.5 ths t of pork. This is by 20.8% more than in 2018.
