From January to November, 2019, 77.4 ths t of live weight cattle and poultry for slaughter were produced in Ryazan region. This is by 13% more than in the same period of 2018.

By December 1st, 2019, the agricultural companies of the region produced 65.2 ths t of meat of all kinds of cattle and poultry, which was by 16.7% more than the previous year’s level.

The biggest growth was shown by the pig breeding farms of the region, which produced 43.5 ths t of pork. This is by 20.8% more than in 2018. ООО “Verdazernoproduct” in Sarayevsky district (33.5 ths t) and ОАО “Ryazanskiy Svinokomplex” (8.7 ths t) are the leaders in this area.

The poultry plants produced 5.3 ths t of poultry. The growth was 30% compared to last year. The leading producers in this area are ООО “Starozhilovskaya Ptitsa” and ООО “RUDO IndoStar” in Starozhilovsky district, specializing in turkey breeding.

The farming enterprise “E. A. Izekeev”, ZAO “Kostino” located in Rybnovsky district and ООО agricultural company “Moloko-Tyrnovo” from Pronsky district are specialized in cattle breeding for meat production in Ryazan region.
