From January through August 2020, Kazakhstan exported 17 thousand Mt of meat and meat products valued at $38.4 million. This is 1.7% down against the same period of 2019. The decline in exports is caused by reduction of lamb supply by 69.6% and sausage products by 62.8%, as well as by 12.7% of meat stuffed pasta. At the same time, beef exports were 122.1% up, canned meat -14.9% up, pork exports grew by 4.2%.
