The Dagestan government does not support the export of live sheep from the republic. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food Abdulmuslim Abdulmuslimov. Earlier, the leadership of Makhachkala Airport announced plans to expand and lengthen the runway for receiving wide-body transport aircraft - this is due to Iran’s desire to import live sheep from Dagestan.
