Armenia will import neither pork nor poultry from Russia because of reports of outbreaks of African Swine fever (ASF) and Avian Influenza (AI) that have hit this country. According to the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) and the Russian veterinary watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor, Armenia decided to ban the imports of poultry and pork from Russia to prevent the ASF disease and bird flu from entering the country.
