The Russian pig industry is actively developing, raising investors' interest. Over the past 5 years, the industry's output has increased 1.3 times by 1.2 million tons. The level of self-sufficiency in 2019 reached 103%. Russian pig production grows 4,7% in 9 months

The highest growth rate was registered in the following regions: Pskov, Belgorod, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk and Krasnodar territory. Slaughter pig production grew 4.7% in January-September 2019 to 3.55 million tons (+157.9 thousand tons y/y) in all categories of farms.
