From the beginning of the year to February 14, 10 foci of African swine fever (ASF) were registered in Russia, follows from the information and analytical center of the Rosselkhoznadzor.
It is specified that 4 outbreaks were recorded among domestic pigs in the Samara and Sverdlovsk regions, the Khabarovsk Territory and Bashkiria.
And 6 foci since the beginning of the year have been identified in the wild: in the Amur Region (3 foci), Primorsky Krai (2) and the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania (1).
For the whole of 2021, 268 ASF foci were noted in Russia: 93 in the wild fauna, 175 among domestic pigs.
