The Russian Ministry of Agriculture, represented by Deputy Minister Maxim Titov, is actively working to strengthen support for the export of dairy products. Recently, at the industry event “Dairy Sessions: Summer edition” in the Moscow region, new measures were announced to stimulate the development of the dairy sector in the country.

According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture, all dairy products produced in Russia are under state support. One of the key support tools is preferential lending, which contributes to the development of the dairy industry. The ministry is also actively working to promote domestic dairy products in international markets.

One of the new initiatives is the development of rules with an increased transportation compensation coefficient, which will help improve the competitiveness of Russian dairy products abroad. The introduction of a separate limit on subsidizing dairy farming is also being discussed, which will help increase the production of high-quality raw materials.

At the event, participants noted the growing demand for dairy products in the domestic market, which indicates the positive dynamics of the industry. According to the plans of the Ministry of Agriculture, by 2030, raw milk production should reach 39 million tons, which emphasizes the strategic importance of the dairy industry for the country.

In addition, the event featured a presentation of ratings of the largest domestic producers and processors of milk and cheese, which contributes to the development of the industry and improvement of product quality.
