The Russian Biotechnological University (ROSBIOTEKH), in partnership with the Akademiya-T company and the Lianozovsky sausage factory, are launching a project to create a domestic line of sports nutrition based on meat protein and collagen. As ROSBIOTEKH reported today on its VKontakte page, cooperation with a manufacturer of sports, medical nutrition and ingredients and Lianozovsky Sausage Plant JSC is developing within the framework of the Priority-2030 state program.

The discussion of technologies and mechanisms of interaction between the project participants took place at the production site of Akademiya-T. The meeting was attended by the CEO of the company, laureate of state awards, Doctor of Technical Sciences Enver Tokaev, Vice-Rector of the Russian Biotechnological University for Technological Development and Commercialization Natalya Murina, Head of the Department of Dietology, Doctor of Medical Sciences Alexei Bereznikov Associate Professor of the Department of Technology and Biotechnology of Meat and Meat Products Elena Litvinova and Mushegh Mamikonyan, General Director of Lianozovsky Sausage Factory OJSC, President of the Meat Union. One of the stages of the project will be testing the effectiveness of the product line for athletes. The researchers intend to prove that meat proteins and collagen give better results than milk proteins.
