Almost half of Russians noted an increase in prices for meat and poultry over the past four weeks.
An increase in prices for meat and poultry over the past four weeks was noted by 39% of Russians, according to a survey by the Public Opinion Foundation (FOM), published on the official website of the sociological center.
Answering the question about "which main products prices have increased significantly over the past month", 36% of fellow citizens pointed to milk and dairy products, every third (34%) - to fish and seafood, 29% of respondents - to fruits and vegetables, 28 % of respondents - for eggs.
The results of the study show that 27% of respondents speak about the increase in the price of bread and bakery products over this period, almost every fourth (24%) of sugar, 23% of vegetable oil, and every fifth (22%) of cereals and pasta.
According to the FOM, every sixth (16%) felt the increase in prices for alcoholic beverages.
The survey was conducted on February 24-26, 2023 among 1,500 respondents aged 18 and over in 104 settlements of the Russian Federation, in 53 regions.
