In the Republic of Adygea, the breeding of small cattle is a traditional direction of animal husbandry.

- The human diet necessarily includes products of animal origin, including lamb. It is used to prepare various dishes around the world, because this meat is distinguished not only by its good taste, but also contains a large number of useful trace elements, - explained the Ministry of Agriculture of Adygea.

Today in Adygea there are more than 60 thousand heads of sheep and goats. These figures are increasing due to state support measures, the Ministry of Agriculture of Adygea reported.

So, this year, a young novice farmer Khatsukov Zaurbiy Turkubievich received a grant for the development of sheep breeding. With the funds received in the amount of 1,779 thousand rubles, the entrepreneur plans to purchase 77 sheep and livestock equipment.

In accordance with the business plan for the development of the economy, a year after the acquisition and fattening of the livestock, the proceeds from the sale of products are planned in the amount of about 500 thousand rubles, and after the payback of the project, this figure should grow to 2 million rubles a year.

- Animal husbandry is one of the most priority areas of activity within the framework of the provision of grants to Agrostartup, - the RA Ministry of Agriculture added.
