Agricultural production in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) for seven months of 2022 increased by 1% compared to the same period last year and amounted to $52.9 billion, Iya Malkina, official representative of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), said on Wednesday during the briefing.
“Agricultural production in the EAEU amounted to $52.9 billion in January-July this year and increased by almost 1% compared to the same period last year,” she said.
The official representative of the EEC noted that the growth in agricultural production was observed in Kyrgyzstan (by 8.4%), Kazakhstan (by 2.1%) and Russia (by 1.8%).
According to Malkina, the production of the main livestock products increased: livestock and poultry for slaughter - by 3.3%, milk - by 0.7%, eggs - by 2.3%.
