The volume of mutual trade in agricultural products and food products between Russia and Saudi Arabia doubled in January-April 2023, according to the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation following a meeting between the head of the ministry, Dmitry Patrushev, and the head of the State Organization for Food Security, Ahmad Al-Fares.

"This year, the positive dynamics continues: in four months, the volume of mutual trade has already more than doubled," the report says.

Last year, the turnover of agricultural products and foodstuffs between the countries reached record levels. About 70% of trade is in grain, and the export of Russian meat products also reached record levels, the Ministry of Agriculture specified.
