“The Ministry of Agriculture of the National Center for Animal Health of the Republic of Cuba announced the certification of nine new Russian livestock enterprises to supply products to the Cuban market,” the report says.
Based on the results of the inspection of organizations producing products of animal origin, carried out from June 19 to 30, 2023, three pig breeding companies, two enterprises for the production of dairy products, one organization for the production of finished meat products, one for producing meat and ready-made meat were granted access to the Cuban market. products, one for the production of poultry meat, one for the production of beef.
Also, the Cuban side extended the accreditation of previously certified companies for a period of two years under the guarantees of Rosselkhoznadzor.
A total of 23 Russian enterprises have been certified for the Cuban market, the agency said.
So, seven organizations can supply pork, five finished meat products, four poultry meat, four dairy products, two beef, and one canned fish. Also, one company is approved for the supply of feed of plant origin (one company has two certified activities).
