Argentina's National Service for Animal Health and Quality of Agricultural Products (SENASA) has officially allowed the import of compound feed from Russia, the Rosselkhoznadzor press service reported.
Russian exporters will supply Argentina with non-animal feed for poultry, pigs and cattle.
The department clarified that the opening of the Argentinean market was preceded by a lot of work involving the Trade Representation of Russia in this country. Negotiations have been going on since the beginning of 2019.
The parties agreed that deliveries of Russian feed to Argentina will be accompanied by a Russian veterinary certificate of Form 5b. Rosselkhoznadzor inspectors will issue it for each consignment of goods.
It should be noted that since the beginning of the year, Russian manufacturers of livestock products have received the right to export to 15 more countries.
In particular, since this year, Russian beef is supplied to China and Algeria, poultry meat - to Vietnam, dairy products - to Oman, Algeria and Saudi Arabia, fish - to Jordan and Saudi Arabia, animal feed - to Hong Kong.
