World meat industry news

The Belarusian food industry will increase exports of halal products manufactured according to strict standards of Muslim countries. The work with the "far arc" market is already showing its promise. Since 2018, the State Committee for Standardization has been issuing Halal certificates in Belarus. The largest market where Belarusian halal products are already represented is the United Arab Emirates. Work is also underway to assign Belarusian manufacturers the "Organic Product" conformity mark. Now 4 Belarusian enterprises are applying for the first "green certificate".
