Representatives of Rostselmash visited Brazil as part of a business mission organized by the Russian Association of Manufacturers of Specialized Machinery and Equipment (ROSSPETSMASH).
The FEMEC-2023 exhibition in Kamaru Park in Uberlandia for the tenth time brought together not only local farmers, but also potential investors, suppliers and manufacturers from near and far abroad.
The agricultural sector in Brazil traditionally occupies a key place in the country's economy. On the world market, this industrial-agrarian state is one of the five largest exporters of certain agricultural products, in particular, livestock products. This explains the need of Brazilian farmers for affordable productive equipment for forage harvesting.
The first experience of delivering TUKAN 1600 balers in 2019 was a kind of breakthrough in the Brazilian market, where the world's largest manufacturers have been holding strong positions for years. Rostselmash products were accepted by livestock breeders and were highly appreciated.
“Potential customers are waiting for our commercial offers,” said Alexei Trofimchenko, export director of the Rostselmash division, after meeting with local farmers. – Farmers are interested in forage harvesting equipment. In particular, in addition to square balers, there is a need for trailed forage harvesters STERH 2000, which are used for harvesting top dressing. They also requested information on the range of rotary and wheel-finger rakes. I think that working with Brazil is important for us, since the market of this country is quite promising.
