Export volumes of the Cherkizovo Group, the largest domestic producer of meat products, exceeded 110 thousand tons based on the results of 2023. In monetary terms, export sales increased by 15%. The growth in foreign supplies is mainly due to the expansion of the presence of the company’s products in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

Cherkizovo Group has summed up preliminary results of export operations for 2023. The company shipped more than 110 thousand tons of various types of products to foreign markets. The main part of exports, as in previous years, was chicken meat - more than 80 thousand tons.

Cherkizovo's foreign supplies of chicken meat last year increased by 8% due mainly to the development of exports to the EAEU countries - the volume of shipments there increased by more than 30%. CIS countries accounted for more than 50% of total chicken exports: for example, shipments to Uzbekistan more than doubled over the year.

The Cherkizovo Group has also significantly increased its pork exports to certain neighboring countries: for example, its supplies to Belarus and Armenia are almost 5 times higher than the volumes of 2022. Foreign shipments of turkey increased most significantly to Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan – 5 times and 2 times, respectively.

The Cherkizovo Group also achieved significant export growth last year in the sausage products segment: their supplies abroad increased by almost 10% year-on-year

The company's export revenue for all products sold increased by 15%.

The main export markets for Cherkizovo Group continue to be China, Kazakhstan and other EAEU countries. The Middle East region is also a priority direction for the development of the company’s exports.

“We are satisfied with the results of our export sales in 2023. The company was able to increase its customer base both in Southeast Asia and in the CIS countries, where stable supplies have been established. In particular, we managed to significantly increase distribution in the network channel, developing the Cherkizovo, Latifa, Pava-Pava and Dajajti brands. Last year, we also expanded our export range to include oils and fats and non-food products - by-products of our production,” comments Elena Volgusheva, export director of the Cherkizovo trading house.

Cherkizovo Group is one of the three leaders in the markets of chicken meat, turkey meat and processed meat products. The group includes 16 poultry complexes, 20 pig farms, 14 meat processing plants, 12 feed mills, an oil extraction plant and about 355 thousand hectares of agricultural land. The company's consolidated revenue at the end of 2022 amounted to 184.3 billion rubles. Among the Group’s brands are Cherkizovo, Petelinka, Chicken Kingdom, Pava-Pava, etc. The company’s advantage is vertical integration, which unites all links of the agricultural chain - from growing grain to producing finished products.
