Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov held a meeting with the PRC delegation, during which the supply of agricultural products to China was discussed. The meeting was attended by Ilnur Mukhametzyanov, Development Director of the Halal Competence Center at Roskachestvo, reports The DairyNews with reference to a press release from Roskachestvo.
During the conversation, the leaders of Chinese companies Wan Chensen, Zhang Xuechun and Wan Guangzhou expressed interest in the supply of beef produced according to Halal standards. They noted that in China there are restaurants for the Muslim population, where the main dish is noodles with halal beef.
“Halal is not just a preference of the Muslim population, but a sign of respect for the quality of products that crosses the boundaries of religions and unites people of different faiths,” said Ilnur Mukhametzyanov.
As noted in the press release, the popularity of halal products outside our country also resonates among Chinese consumers, especially in the consumption of meat products. Every year, the interest of agricultural producers in this promising market is growing.
“Even with the difference between our cultures, the desire for quality products and products that comply with the canons of Islam creates a single direction for interaction between the Republic of Bashkortostan and the PRC,” concluded Ilnur Mukhametzyanov.
