Residents of China are snapping up Russian goods, trying to support the country stricken by Western sanctions, RIA Novosti reports.
According to Chinese media reports, sales of the Russian National Pavilion have significantly increased. It is open on various online trading platforms in China.
The users themselves note that for them the purchase of Russian goods means that they support Moscow's actions.
Dmitrovsky Dairy Plant, which produces Svitlogorye ice cream, confirmed this information. According to the representative of the company in China, Olga Gubina, sales have grown significantly. Ice cream, she explained, is quite expensive, but orders are increasing. Many clients even refuse to receive their orders or stop using discount coupons.
In addition, Olga Gubina noted that if the company used to pay fixed fees and interest when working with Chinese bloggers, now many have begun to work only for interest.
Earlier, a video in support of Russian goods sold in China gained over 600,000 likes. The video included ice cream, juices, chocolate, canned food, drinks and other Russian-made products that are popular in China.
