In January-June 2023, average producer prices for compound feed decreased by 19% compared to the same period last year and reached 21.1 rubles per kilogram. Such data are provided in the materials of the analytical agency FEEDLOT.
The most significant decline over the year was noted in the Central, Urals and Volga Federal Districts - by 21% on average. At the same time, the highest prices are observed in the Far Eastern District - 27.1 rubles per kilogram, the growth for six months amounted to 5.1%. The lowest prices are offered by Siberian producers - 18 rubles per kilogram, the price in the region has dipped by 15.2% year-on-year.
The producers' price for feed for cattle averaged 17.3 rubles per kilogram across the country, which is 14% lower than in the first half of the previous year. The cost of feed for pigs decreased by 20% to 19.6 rubles per kilogram, for poultry - by 19% per year, to 23 rubles per kilogram.
Selling prices for premixes in January-June decreased by 18% year-on-year and reached 155 rubles per kilogram, for protein-vitamin-mineral concentrates - by 13%, to 24.7 rubles per kilogram.
The average prices of Russian producers for concentrates and feed mixtures in January-June decreased by 15%, reaching 12.6 rubles per kilogram. The average selling price for feed protein in January-June 2023 decreased by 17%, amounting to 14.5 rubles per kilogram.
In January-June this year, fine and coarse flour and meat granules fell in price by 13% year-on-year to 52 rubles per kilogram. Producer prices for feed fishmeal and pellets increased by 5% during this period and reached 105 rubles per kilogram.
The average prices of domestic producers for vegetable feed for the first half of the year decreased by 12% year-on-year to 12.8 rubles per kilogram.
Selling prices for cake and other solid residues of vegetable fats or oils decreased by 2% year-on-year and amounted to 28 rubles per kilogram.
