Damate Group is going to invest 3.5 billion roubles to upgrade the elevator acquired in May 2019 and build a new feed mill in Kolyshleysky area of Penza region as part of the expansion of the existing turkey meat production project to 207 000 tonnes per annum. This is according to a statement posted on the company’s website.

“With the launch of the new 37 500 tonne grain storage facility, the company plans to increase its total one-time storage capacity to 352 000 tonnes. [...] Upon completion of the feed mill, the company will be able to produce 50 tonnes of feed per hour, which will increase Damate’s total feed production capacity to 886 000 tonnes per year,” the text specifies.

It adds that the facilities are planned to be operational by the end of 2022.

“In addition to the main production facilities – a feed mill, an elevator tower, a grain dryer, a granary, meal and container storage and finished goods hoppers – a whole complex of infrastructure facilities is also planned for construction here. These include disinfection barriers, special weighing stations for receiving grain and meal, operator’s offices, accommodation buildings, a fire pumping station, a boiler house, in-house local treatment facilities, a transformer substation and a number of other auxiliary facilities,” the text explains.
