At the First All-Russian Congress of Enterprises of the Meat Cattle Breeding Industry, which will be held on February 6, 2019 in Moscow, the participants of the event will ask the state authorities to support the main provisions of the “Concept for the sustainable development of meat cattle breeding in Russia for the period up to 2030” in the next 10-12 years. This is stated in the draft resolution published on the website of the National Union of Beef Producers (NUBP).

In addition, the heads of the National Association of Cattle Industrialists (NAS), the National Meat Association (IA), the Federal State Budget Scientific Institution of Food Systems named after V.M. Gorbatov  and Federal Scientific Center for Biological Systems and Agrotechnologies  will take part in this conference.

Experts are preparing practical recommendations on how, in the new conditions, the beef cattle industry can contribute to the implementation of the National Rural Development Project. Earlier, President Vladimir Putin ordered by June 1, 2019 to develop and approve the state program on rural development in Russia.

The event will be held as part of the 13th International Exhibition of Breeding and Technologies for the Production and Processing of Animal Products “AgroFarm-2019”.
