The volume of exported products over 8 months amounted to more than 756 thousand tons.
Since the beginning of the year, employees of the Rosselkhoznadzor Office for the Irkutsk Region and the Republic of Buryatia, while monitoring the border of the Russian Federation and transport at the Ulan-Ude station of the East Siberian Railway, have controlled and sent for export to Mongolia 128 batches of livestock products, which is 3.5 times more than in the same period last year.
The volume of export products for 8 months amounted to more than 756 thousand tons, of which the largest share is accounted for by finished dairy products - 346 thousand tons and canned fish - 280 thousand tons.
In September, export registration is being transferred through the services of the “My Export” platform; foreign trade participants can submit electronic applications through the personal account of the “One Window” system to obtain a veterinary certificate and/or a permit to export products. The supervisory agency has sent information letters to exporters, and consultations are being held on emerging issues within their competence.
After inspecting eight consignments and issuing veterinary certificates, 31.6 thousand tons of ossified antlers of deer, elk and reindeer were exported to China. All shipped cargo has undergone the necessary procedures to confirm compliance with the requirements of the importing country for safety indicators.
During the reporting period, 7 applications for the export of small pets were accepted and processed, of which: 3 to Mongolia, 3 to Thailand and 1 to South Korea. Owners of companion animals are advised to familiarize themselves with the requirements of importing countries posted on the Rosselkhoznadzor website before planning a trip.
During domestic Russian transportation, 1,353 consignments of supervised cargo with a total weight of more than 4,600 tons, arriving by rail from different regions of Russia, were inspected. 1912 sable skins and 76 lynx skins were inspected and intended for shipment to the city of St. Petersburg.
