In 2022, 33 tons of meat products were exported from the region of activity of the Ural Customs Administration for a total amount of more than 170 thousand dollars. Export volumes of sausages and meat products, including canned ones, increased by 3.7 times (274%) in terms of weight, in terms of value the growth was almost 5 times (386%). A year earlier, 9 tons were exported for a total of $35,000. This is reported by the public relations department of UTU.

n 2022, livestock products from the Urals were mainly supplied to four countries: Vietnam, Azerbaijan, Serbia and Uzbekistan. Moreover, three times more meat products were sent to the People's Republic of Vietnam compared to the previous one. Azerbaijan switched to fish products last year, purchasing more than 30 tons of prepared or canned fish.

The increase in the export of the Ural livestock breeders was influenced by the expansion of the list of enterprises that have the right to access products to third countries.
