Exports of meat and meat products from Russia from January 1 to January 26, 2024 amounted to 35,694 tons. This is evidenced by data from customs statistics and the Argus information system of Rosselkhoznadzor.

Over the same period in 2023, the Russian Federation exported meat and meat products in the amount of 29,484 tons. Thus, at the beginning of this year, the volume of meat exports increased by 21% compared to last year.

The most significant share of exports is meat and poultry by-products - more than 17 thousand tons. (+ 5.1%).

China has become the largest export destination for meat and poultry by-products. Deliveries of this type of product increased by 10.6% year on year, amounting to almost 7,788 tons.

Pork supplies abroad from January 1 to January 26 amounted to 7875 tons (+ 10%). The main consumers of Russian pork are Belarus and Vietnam. The volumes of supplies to these countries amounted to 4912 and 1404 tons, respectively.
