For 10 months of this year in the Kurgan region, the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter has decreased by almost 12%. The total production volume in January-October is 41,476 tons against more than 47,000 tons for the same period in 2021 (-11.9%).

According to the Federal State Statistics Service, in the period from the beginning of January to the end of October in the Kurgan region, there was a negative trend in other livestock sectors. In particular, the production of milk on an annualized basis decreased by 5%, and the production of table chicken eggs - by 2.7%.
