Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade left the government-inroduced price caps for socially important goods in force until June 29. The list includes frozen fish, meat, milk and dairy products, sugar, buckwheat and other goods.
As noted by the agency, in the context of the negative impact of the pandemic on the economy, there are still risks of an increase in the prices for staples. The continuing regulation of prices is aimed at ensuring availability of food products to the citizens.
