At the Krasnaya Gorka production unit on February 15 this year, the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Bryansk, Smolensk and Kaluga regions suspended the movement of two consignments of frozen beef in quarters produced by the Miory Meat Processing Plant and the branch of the Pruzhany District Consumer Society “Prodtovary” of the Republic of Belarus.

According to the accompanying documents, the cargo with a total weight of about 39.9 tons went to the address of the consignee LLP "Prado", Aktobe, Republic of Kazakhstan.

However, during the control by the veterinary inspectors of the service, it was found that there are traces of cuts of veterinary stamps on the quarters, and the unsatisfactory condition of the transported products (mechanical pollution) was also revealed.

At the same time, the products were accompanied by certificates BY No. 02-00333563 dated 02/10/2021 and BY No. 01-00401814 dated 02/12/2021, issued by officials of the Belarusian veterinary service, who had to confirm the fulfillment of all current veterinary and sanitary requirements.

Since the facts revealed are in violation of the current requirements for the import of meat and other edible meat raw materials into the customs territory of the EAEU and their movement between the EAEU member states, and also indicate a lack of control when sending goods to recipients from other countries through the territory of Russia, the beef was returned to the senders.
