 In 2020, Russia reduced imports of fresh and frozen meat by 29.8% compared to the indicator for 2019 - to 269.5 thousand tons. The volume of purchases of poultry meat increased by 0.6% - to 228.8 thousand tons, follows from materials of the Federal Customs Service (FCS).

The import of fish to the Russian Federation over 12 months decreased by 11.4% - to 394.4 thousand tons, and the export of fish during this period increased by 8.5% - to 1.717 million tons.

Export of agricultural products in January increased by 28%

Imports of condensed milk and cream decreased by 17.1% - to 148.3 thousand tons, butter - increased by 11%, to 133.2 thousand tons, cheese and cottage cheese - by 12.4%, to 313.1 thousand tons.

Imports of citrus fruits in 2020 increased by 0.2%, amounting to 1.7 million tons, the import of bananas increased by 0.2%, to 1.516 million tons, apples - by 9.5%, to 1.026 million tons.
