In January-July of 2020, the production volumes of agricultural commodities in Russia totaled 2.247 tln RUR in current prices, an increase of 3.3% compared with the figures in the same period last year, reported the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat).

It should be noted that for the first six months of 2020, the growth of production in the agricultural sector of Russia totaled 3%.

In particular, in July 2020 the production figures in the agricultural sector increased by 4% compared with the same month last year — to 588.7 bln RUR.

Also, Rosstat stressed that the reporting estimations were preliminary only.
