Analysts of the Check Index service calculated the index of pancakes in the country. The average check for food for this dish in February will be 93 rubles.

Thus, the index rose by seven percent compared to the same period last year. It is noted that in Moscow the indicator is at the level of 99 rubles (an increase of five percent), in St. Petersburg - 96 rubles (an increase of 10 percent), in Kazan - 90 rubles (nine percent higher), in Yekaterinburg - 102 rubles ( 10 percent higher), in Novosibirsk — 103 rubles (up 6 percent).

The index was calculated based on a traditional pancake recipe: 500 milliliters of milk, 2 eggs, 200 grams of flour, 3 tablespoons of sunflower oil, a tablespoon of sugar and half a teaspoon of salt.

At the same time, in Russian catering establishments, a portion of pancakes costs an average of 142 rubles, which is 18 percent more than last year, and pancakes - 133 rubles (10 percent more). The cost of a can of jam for pancakes has risen to 148 rubles (an increase of two percent), and condensed milk - up to 107 rubles (an increase of two percent).
