World meat industry news

Inflation has been zero since the beginning of June, and 11.8% since the beginning of the year. This was reported by Rosstat.

For the period from May 28 to June 3, 2022, prices decreased: chicken meat – by 0.6%, pork – by 0.4%, sterilized milk and buckwheat groats – by 0.3%, semi-smoked and boiled-smoked sausages, pasta and table salt – by 0.2%, vermicelli and vodka – by 0.1%.

Prices for chicken eggs on average in the country decreased by 1.9%. Granulated sugar on average in the country has become cheaper by 1%. Margarine prices on average in Russia increased by 1.3%. Fruit and vegetable products on average fell by 3%.

The prices of automobile gasoline and diesel fuel have not changed. The cost of flying in the economy class cabin of the aircraft increased by 7.7%. City bus fares increased by 0.3% on average in Russia, trolleybus – by 0.2%, tram – by 0.1%.
