Inflation in Russia has been 0.13% since the beginning of May, and 11.82% since the beginning of the year. This was reported by Rosstat.

For the period from May 14 to May 20, 2022, prices decreased: pork and chicken meat – by 0.3%, frozen fish and pasta – by 0.2%, sterilized milk and wheat flour – by 0.1%. Prices for margarine and table salt increased by 0.8%, black tea – by 0.7%, sausages, sausages, rennet cheeses, sunflower oil – by 0.6%, boiled sausages, sour cream, milk powder mixtures for baby food, rice, biscuits, canned fruit and berry for baby food - by 0.5%, chocolate candies – by 0.4%, beef, canned meat for baby food, pasteurized milk, buckwheat groats, millet – by 0.3%, lamb, bread and bakery products made of wheat flour of various varieties, vermicelli, canned vegetables for baby food, lunches in the dining room, cafe, snack bar (except the dining room in the organization) – by 0.2%, semi-smoked and boiled–smoked sausages, butter, rye bread, vodka - by 0.1%.

Prices for chicken eggs on average in the country decreased by 3.6%. Prices for granulated sugar on average in the country decreased by 0.8%. Fruit and vegetable products on average fell by 1.4%.
