New rules will be developed for catering establishments in Russia after completion of the coronavirus pandemic, Russia’s chief sanitary doctor and head of the consumer rights watchdog Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova said, reports.

In particular, protection of attendants, visitors, and social distancing will be ensured, she said, adding that the regime of self-isolation produced good results.

If we started with infection growth rates of almost 30 percent per day, today we have less than 10 percent, she noted.

Compliance with restrictions is the only way to avoid coronavirus infection, she added.
