Iran continues to increase its supplies of edible chicken eggs to Russia, becoming one of the leading suppliers of this product. According to information received from the Eqtesad News agency, the first batch of chicken eggs from the Islamic Republic is expected in Russia in the next three weeks.
The head of the Iranian Poultry Farmers Union, Hamid-Reza Kashani, noted that Iran is not only restoring its previous volume of exports of food eggs, but also increasing it year after year. In February and the first half of March, export volumes increased significantly.
This increase in the supply of chicken eggs from Iran to Russia becomes even more significant, given the reduction in imports from Azerbaijan and Turkey. According to Rosselkhoznadzor, for the period from the end of 2023 to March 3 of this year, the number of eggs imported from these countries amounted to 28.5 million.
Besides Iran, another important supplier of chicken eggs to Russia - Kazakhstan - also plans to increase its supplies. From March to December this year, Kazakhstan intends to deliver up to 1 million eggs per month to Russia. This will satisfy the growing demand for this product in Russia and ensure a stable supply to the market.
Russian consumers can expect a wide selection of chicken eggs, including those coming from Iran. This diversification of supplies will help ensure stability in prices and product quality. Chicken eggs are a popular and healthy product, rich in proteins and vitamins, and their availability in the market is important for consumers.
Thus, Iran, by increasing its supply of edible chicken eggs to Russia, is becoming an important player in the market and contributing to a variety of choice and price stability for Russian consumers.
