The Kazakh side said that the day before, it sent a package of documents to the Rosselkhoznadzor containing information regarding ensuring epizootic well-being in the country in order to allow enterprises producing products of animal origin to enter the Russian market. To date, these enterprises cannot supply their goods to Russia due to the unfavorable situation in certain regions in terms of foot and mouth disease. In this vein, the Head of the Rosselkhoznadzor stressed that he expects a more open approach from Kazakhstani colleagues, especially in the area of ​​outbreaks of especially dangerous diseases, as they create serious risks for the border regions of Russia.

At the same time, Sergey Dankvert noted that connecting Kazakhstan to the traceability information systems developed by the Rosselkhoznadzor can significantly facilitate the confirmation of the quality and safety of mutual deliveries. A positive example of such integration is the interaction with the Republic of Belarus.

Also discussed was the request of the Kazakh side to approve the supply of Turkish enterprises producing dairy and meat products, table and hatching eggs, as well as feed and feed additives to the territory of all EAEU countries. The parties agreed that in the near future Kazakhstan will revise the previously sent list of companies in accordance with the real needs of the country and send it for approval to the Rosselkhoznadzor.

In conclusion, the parties highly appreciated the trade cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan and expressed their readiness to promote its development.
