Kyrgyzstan has reduced the import of cattle from Russia by 6 times in 2022, according to the data of the National Statistical Committee of the country.
At the end of the year, 3.9 thousand animals were imported from Russia compared to 24.2 thousand animals in 2021.
Imports in value terms amounted to $1.1 million, or an average of $282 per animal.
At the same time, deliveries of animals from the Czech Republic increased by 2.7 times, up to 431 animals. The cost of cattle from the Czech Republic averaged $2.4 thousand.
