In food production, a sharp rise in prices for fresh, cooled and chilled meat of domestic sheep and rams was recorded in July, its cost increased by 21.3 percent. This is stated on August 16 in the material prepared by Rosstat “On the producer price index for industrial goods in July 2023”.

According to the agency, there was also an increase in prices for fish products not included in other groups (other) (18.9 percent), for cake and residues of vegetable fats or oils (15.9), for frozen crustaceans (13.6), for noodles (12.4) and for fish fillets (9.3).
