Meat imports to Russia in January-June 2021 decreased by 12.7% compared to the same period in 2020 and amounted to 117.5 thousand tons, according to the materials of the Federal Customs Service (FCS) of Russia.

In monetary terms, the indicator fell by 12.9% - to $ 427 million.

Imports of fresh and frozen poultry meat for the reporting period increased by 0.6% - to 111.4 thousand tons, while the value increased by 8.3% - to $ 177 million. Imports of fresh and frozen fish increased by 14, 2% in volume - up to 200.9 thousand tons, and the value growth was 17.6%, up to $ 599.3 million.
