In July 2023, 470 thousand tons of milk were produced, which is 0.6% and 0.8% more than in July 2022 and June 2023, respectively. For seven months of 2023, milk production decreased by 1.4% compared to January-July 2022 and amounted to 3.3 million tons.
"Cattle meat, pork, lamb, goat meat, horse meat and other animals in July 2023 produced 293.05 thousand tons, which is 2.1% more than in July 2022, but 1.3% less than in June 2023. Production for January-July 2023 increased by 4.6% compared to January-July 2022, amounting to 2.1 million tons," the materials say.
149.9 thousand tons of boiled sausages were produced, which is at the level of July 2022, but 0.8% lower than June 2023. For the seven months of 2023, 958.3 thousand tons of boiled sausages were produced, which is 0.3% more than in the same period in 2022.
385 thousand tons of meat and meat-containing semi-finished products, chilled or frozen, were produced, which is 3.2% more than in July 2022, but 1% less than in June 2023. In January-July 2023, they produced 2.7 million tons, which is 6.2% more than in the first seven months of 2022.
The production of wheat and wheat-rye flour in July 2023 amounted to 664.5 thousand tons, which is 3.3% more than in July 2022, but 7.9% less than in June 2023. Rice produced 44.4 thousand tons, which is 48.9% more than in July 2022, and 0.3% more than in June 2023. Buckwheat production reached 44.7 thousand tons, which is 47% more than a year earlier and 11.7% more than in June 2023.
569 thousand tons of unrefined sunflower oil and its fractions were produced, which is 34.4% more than in July 2022, but 3.4% less than in June 2023. 233.5 thousand tons of refined sunflower oil and its fractions were produced, which is 16.9% more than in July 2022, and 1.9% more than in June 2023.
