Leningrad region increases the production of food products. For the second year in a row, the region has been increasing the production of food products, including vegetable oils, semi-finished meat products, cheeses. This was announced by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia following the meeting of Dmitry Patrushev and the governor of the region Alexander Drozdenko.
Last year, the agricultural production index in the Leningrad region was 100.7%. This is above the national average.
A few days ago, the sowing campaign started in the region. Farmers are provided with everything they need, including fertilizers.
The volume of federal financing of land reclamation measures for the current year has been increased 8 times, more than 32% of funds have already been brought to recipients.
Traditionally, the driver of the development of the regional agro-industrial complex is animal husbandry. In the first three months of this year, the production of milk, livestock and poultry showed a significant increase.
