The new sites - Malfa, Milech and Foevichi - are high-tech complexes for keeping animals, informs the company.
Miratorg reported the opening of three new cattle farms in the region of Bryansk, Russia. The new sites - Malfa, Milech and Foevichi - are high-tech complexes for keeping animals. "Malfa" and "Foevichi" are mother farms, where breeding takes place according to the "cow-calf" principle, "Milech" is a rearing farm, where heifers who have reached the age of six months arrive, for subsequent preparation for insemination and the appearance of calves.
The farms opened at the end of 2021, livestock began to be delivered to Malfa and Foevichi in December, to Milech in January 2022. Settlement is scheduled to be completed in March. The company has been implementing a beef cattle breeding project in the Bryansk region since 2011. The region has become a launching pad for an interregional project for the cultivation of cattle, which is currently being implemented on the territory of the Bryansk, Oryol, Kaluga, Smolensk, Tula and Kaliningrad regions. During this time, the holding has built a full-cycle beef production from scratch - from growing feed to deep processing of meat.
For the construction of new farms and the provision of fodder resources for sites within the framework of the project, over the past five years, the company has introduced over 70.2 thousand hectares of land into agricultural circulation in the Bryansk region, of which more than 54 thousand hectares were overgrown with trees and shrubs. In 2022, it will return to circulation more than 12 thousand hectares.
"The launch of new farms is due to the growth in the number of livestock. This year, the agricultural holding will receive an offspring that is unprecedented for the domestic beef cattle breeding industry - more than 309,000 calves. Further plans are related to the increase in livestock on the existing farms of the interregional project up to 1 million heads," commented the press service of the Miratorg agricultural holding.
